This digitally illustrated interpretive panel depicts a simplified version of the complex food web found in Northern California Salt Marshes, such as Corte Madera Marsh in Marin County. This food web includes common Northern California marsh species: Coyote, Black-tailed Deer (a subspecies of Mule Deer), Raccoon, Golden-crowned Sparrow, Snowy Egret, American Avocet, Northern Shoveler, Variegated Meadowhawk, Western Pygmy Blue, Striped Shore Crab, and Tidewater Goby.
This panel was created as part of a project done for the City of Larkspur Recreation Department.
